Parole vs Probation in Baca County
Parole and probation should not be merged when checking a released Baca County person. Parole means the person served or is serving a CDOC prison sentence and may now be supervised outside prison. Probation means the court placed the person under supervision instead of, or after, a jail sentence. The source to check depends on which one applies.

Definition. Release from jail is not the same thing as discharge from a sentence. A person can leave Baca County Jail on bond, time served, transfer, parole, or probation and still have court dates, supervision conditions, or a remaining sentence.
